Governments make promises. Voters remember some, forget most, and rarely have time to check the record. The Geopolitical Times exists to close that gap.
We track three things across the United Kingdom and the United States. The promises politicians make before and during office. The legislation they introduce to deliver on those promises. And the people they appoint to carry out the work.
Every promise in our ledger is linked, where possible, to the specific bills that would fulfil it. Each bill carries its current status in Parliament or Congress. Our cabinet and administration trackers show who holds power, and how that has changed over time.
None of this is about ideology. We are not scoring governments on left or right. We are recording whether the things they said they would do are actually being done. The data comes from official parliamentary and congressional records, updated regularly, and presented without spin.
This is accountability in its simplest form. A record, kept honestly.
