Armed Forces Commissioner Act

Labour will put the Armed Forces Covenant fully into law and establish an independent Armed Forces Commissioner.

The bill's long title states it will 'establish, and confer functions on, the Armed Forces Commissioner' which directly addresses the second part of the promise to 'establish an independent Armed Forces Commissioner'. However, the bill text provided makes no mention of the Armed Forces Covenant or putting it 'fully into law', which is the first part of the promise. Since the bill only addresses one of two distinct commitments in the promise, it partially fulfils the promise.
